as a dental assistant, the biggest mistake i see people make with bad breath is using harsh antibacterial stuff. you end up wiping out the good flora and the odor comes back 10x worse. you need zinc citrate to neutralize the smell directly and inulin to feed the healthy bacteria so the bad ones can't take over
