I have a claddagh ring that was a gift from my nephew, I wore it every day for nearly 20 years, until the band broke. Even tho I wore it daily, I took it off multiple times a day for a few minutes at a time also, and I never sleep or shower with any jewelry on.

my dad was a prison doc back in the 70s/80s and I asked him what the most out there thing he saw or had to do.... he told me he had to basically surgically remove someones socks bc they kept the same pair on for over 2 years... the human body can do some insane shit. my dad had the best stories, really really miss him
