Lori Wickelhaus, who appeared on 16 & Pregnant in season 2, has been released from prison. The former reality star spent 26 months behind bars for possession of 20 counts of child s3x abus3 material (CSAM). The U.S. Sun confirmed that Lori was released from a Kentucky prison on Wednesday. She was sentenced to 6 1/2 years behind bars on child porn0graphy charges in August 2021 after she accepted a plea deal. Per the Kentucky Department of Corrections website, Lori was due to stay locked up until December 2027. She became eligible for parole in October 2022. Her first hearing was denied but last month, she had her parole approved. The conditions of her parole are as follows: Lori is on mandatory reentry supervision. According to the National Institute of Corrections' website, "Kentucky requires that every inmate that is released from prison undergo post-release supervision to ensure that the inmate has the necessary monitoring &/or support in the community." As part of the plea deal, the judge ordered that she receive mental health counseling. A clerk for a Kentucky court confirmed to The U.S. Sun exclusively that Lori entered a guilty plea during her May 10 court hearing. A 20-count indictment warrant was issued for Lori's arrest on August 13, 2020, for possession of viewing matter portraying s3xual performance of a minor from the dates September 23, 2019, December 18, 2019 & December 19, 2019. A police report obtained by The U.S. Sun showed that the porn0graphy was allegedly found on an iPhone & a white chrome laptop PC. Police received a Cybertip from the Kentucky State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force after an "unknown subject uploaded images that depict child porn0graphy to a Dropbox account," according to the report. Lori was released on a $10,000 cash bond. She deactivated her social media accounts after her arrest. In September, she pleaded not guilty to the 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a s3xual performance by a minor, according to a Kentucky court. Lori appeared on the second season of 16 and Pregnant in 2010. In her episode, she was shown placing her son Aidan for adoption. Afterward, she spent time at Q&A Associates in West Virginia, a transitional program for young adults. She gave a rare interview in 2012 during which she opened up about her struggle with depression after the adoption. Lori said at the time: "Before I got here, I was on a downward spiral. I had no dreams. I didn't have any goals, I didn't care what happened day-to-day. "I'd wake up and go right back to bed. There was nothing to get up and work for. Now I have everything to work for. After my pregnancy, I hit a rough spot. I couldn't really get over that I had done an open adoption with my son. I wasn't working. I quit going to school. I knew I needed a change." She went on: "I see a good career. A family, a nice house & a couple of animals. I really have big dreams for myself so I plan on reaching it." She welcomed her daughter Rylynn Jo in 2013 & her son Logan in 2014. Bill and Hillary Clinton on Tuesday declined to appear before a Republican-led House investigation examining the activities of the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, arguing the inquiry is driven by politics rather than facts. In a letter sent to Rep. James Comer, the Kentucky Republican who leads the House Oversight Committee, the Clintons said they believe the investigation has crossed a line. “There comes a moment when people decide they have had enough and are willing to stand up for the country, its values, and its people—regardless of the consequences,” the letter states. “For us, that moment is now.” Comer responded by announcing the committee plans to vote next week on holding former President Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress, a move that could carry potential criminal implications. A spokesperson for the committee added that similar contempt proceedings could be initiated against Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, if she fails to appear before the panel on Wednesday. The Clintons said they have already cooperated to the extent possible, providing what they described as the limited information they possess. They accused Comer of diverting attention away from actions taken during the Trump administration, noting that Epstein died in federal custody in 2019 while Donald Trump was president. Epstein’s death was officially ruled a suicide as he awaited trial on federal sex-trafficking charges. “If the government failed to fully investigate and prosecute these crimes, for any reason, that is where your efforts should be focused,” the Clintons wrote, adding that they see no evidence the committee is pursuing that objective. Instead, they argued, the investigation appears motivated by partisan considerations. Comer, for his part, said the public deserves answers from Bill Clinton regarding his past association with Epstein. He has claimed that Epstein visited the White House 17 times during Clinton’s presidency and that Clinton traveled aboard Epstein’s private jet on roughly two dozen occasions. Clinton has previously said he regrets having any relationship with Epstein and has maintained that he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal conduct at the time. No evidence has emerged linking Clinton to Epstein’s sex-trafficking activities.#viral #fyp
