Ice is EXTREMELY dangerous on planes. If you ever sit on the tarmac, waiting to be de-iced, DO NOT complain. It’s life saving. Obviously in the air, there’s nothing you can do, but this is why they take the time to de-ice the planes before takeoff. It’s possible ice was sucked into the engine, because at negative 47 Celsius, water doesn’t even form. It’s very odd circumstances, but I think if they find bits of the plane, they will probably find a compromised piece inside. Plane inspection has been conducted poorly lately tbh.

People have become way too desensitized. The audio just made this even more horrific, most can probably not even imagine the fear, stress & panic of being in the midst of knowing you're in grave danger and about inevitably face a death that gives you no time to even prepare, say goodbye to loved ones, or tie up any loose ends. We never know when will be our last moments. Condolences to them and their loved ones
