It's Florida and it's been raining - the ground is mostly soft loose sand and silt. Most of the plane parts are impaled into the ground - unless you ever played with lawn darts you will never understand

I have seen F15 crashes that look identical. Crater and no recognizable aircraft parts.I remember one where the largest piece of the aircraft was the size of a toaster.
