A New Jersey father is speaking out after a traffic stop ended with his arrest, claiming he was unfairly targeted because of his race. Jamaal Holmes, 34, says he was driving to pick up his son on June 2 when he noticed a police cruiser following him shortly after leaving his apartment complex in Jackson Township. According to Holmes, officers eventually pulled him over in a shopping center parking lot. During the encounter, officers reportedly told Holmes they became suspicious because he appeared to be concealing his face and was wearing a hoodie despite the warm weather. Holmes challenged that explanation, questioning whether his race played a role in their decision to stop him. Body-camera and cellphone footage from the incident show a tense exchange between Holmes and officers. 21 октября на центральной площади Кызылорды погиб подросток Нурисламбек. По информации родственников, он получил смертельное ранение во время конфликта со знакомым. В соцсетях и СМИ распространяется информация, что ссора произошла из-за 1000 тенге, и что подростка ударили отвёрткой в грудь. Как сообщили корреспонденту HALYQSTAN в ДП Кызылординской области, возбуждено уголовное дело об умышленном причинении тяжкого вреда здоровью, повлёкшем смерть по неосторожности. Несовершеннолетнего подозреваемого поместили в областной Центр адаптации несовершеннолетних. По словам сестры погибшего, подозреваемому 13 лет. При этом она допускает, что к произошедшему могли быть причастны и другие люди.
