@dailynews528: The FBI has officially blamed North Korea for stealing more than $6 billion in cryptocurrency from Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange. The theft happened on October 29, 2026. Blockchain research firm TRM Labs estimates that approximately $6.36 billion was taken from Binance wallets across 10 different blockchain networks. The FBI identified the hackers as TraderTraitor, a North Korean-linked cybercrime group. The hackers have been moving the stolen funds mainly into Ethereum, another major cryptocurrency. TRM Labs says the attackers also managed to move billions before cryptocurrency companies could freeze some of the stolen assets. Around $2.7 billion was frozen by October 30, according to the firm's tracking. Binance has promised to fully reimburse affected customers and said it has sufficient reserves to cover the losses. At approximately $6.36 billion, the Binance theft is the largest cryptocurrency heist recorded by TRM Labs. Sources: Daily News #fyp #breakingnews #fbi #northkorea #binance
