@yohannes_music: Mezmur Mondays: SZN 2 - EP 21 | "Hulu Bante New" by @Daniel Amdemichael For this episode, I have covered "Hulu Bante New" by Daniel Amdemichael. This song speaks of letting go of pride and giving God all the credit for every blessing, strength, and accomplishment in our life. It celebrates the Lord's unfailing grace for us, turning sorrow into joy and carrying us through the hardest seasons. This song was one of my dad's favorites as it was his life testimony -- he accomplished many things in his highly esteemed aviation career, yet always acknowledged that it was the LORD who blessed him with all he achieved. May we all give praise and credit to the LORD for all He has blessed us with as my father did 🙏🏾 On a music note, I took inspiration from Haitian Konpa music in the verses. When I first heard this live arrangement, I immediately thought of Konpa! It was fun to fuse two different music traditions into this cover -- I hope I did it justice for my Haitian brothers and sisters haha. Note: audio pitched down for posting purposes. #mezmure_christian #mezmur #ethiopian_tik_tok🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹 #haitiantiktok #konpa
