Even Im the local here still concern for tourist that how are you guys be able plan or choose to go to the tourist spots, the café, the temples, the events etc. because its so many even me as Thai still hasn’t explore 80% of it😭

The charm of Bangkok lies in the fact that novelty can happen anywhere, anytime; it's unpredictable. It has a city plan that isn't really a city plan. Walking through a business district with modern buildings, you might unexpectedly find a forest park or an ancient temple just by turning the corner.

As a local, Bangkok has a variety of options for kids, family, solo traveling or couples. I won’t say it is cheap but it offers the wide price range like for food that u can find it very low at 30bth(0.89usd) to a crazy price over 10k bth a meal (296usd++). It’s good for traveling not for living. Somehow the average salary doesn’t match the cost of living and we have to bare with it :(

I travel there about three or four times a year. I can’t get enough of it. It is a special place the culture, the people the safety other than North America in the west yeah.🇹🇭

I've lived in Bangkok my whole life, and I always feel like there's nothing here—or maybe I'm just too used to it. Then my friend from upcountry visited and said, 'Didn't you tell me there was nothing to see in Bangkok? You can sightsee everywhere! Just Ratchadamri Road and the clean, pretty hotels around there make my heart happy, and every single festival goes all out. There are so many gorgeous spots—I'm so excited, it's totally different from the provinces!

I lived in Bangkok for almost 10 yrs. I thought I already got bored of it. I also thought that I wouldn’t have missed it once I moved out BUT now that I’m in the other country, it’s just so hard not to. My fav restaurants, fav food, fav hidden spots, 7-11, the malls, taxi bike & taxi drivers, food delivery services, local ppl, events, concerts, cultures, local fashion brands, crafty workshops etc. It’s just not the same. I’m not “Bangkok-sick” anymore but I still think abt the city from time to time.
