The comments miss the point entirely. Its about teaching him resisting giving in temptations, regardless of whether you agree with the reason or not, he has to learn how to stay true to his values. And when he’s old enough he can decide whats his “values” but his age now is the parent’s responsibility to show him the right values.

“he is just a kid” thats the point. you have to start teaching our values from a young age in a soft manner. she is explaining it aswell. you cant just switch up randomly at your kids when theyre older and start telling them no to everything because it used to be all good when they were smaller
