@yantastic: Growing up, I watched a lot of Hong Kong cinema, especially the films of Wong Kar-wai. There’s something about the atmosphere and the way Hong Kong was captured on film that has always stayed with me. When I heard The Weeknd’s new song featuring Faye Wong, it instantly took me back to my childhood. So I put together some of my own cinematic footage of Hong Kong, mixed with scenes from Chungking Express (重庆森林). A little tribute to the films I grew up watching and a city that has always inspired me. 🎵 Music: Hong Kong – The Weeknd ft. Faye Wong (王菲), sampling 季候風 🎞️ Film clips: Chungking Express (重庆森林, 1994), directed by Wong Kar-wai (王家卫) 🎥 Filmed on: DJI Osmo Pocket 4 🎨 Colour grading: YPresets Color Lab by @ypresets.com 📍 Hong Kong 🇭🇰
