Someone told me that Cracker Barrel had a sign at server station showing how profitable a meal WAS when you gave one syrup and how unprofitable it was when two syrups

Started with 1 olive, then it went to smaller seats, charging for bags, and no more inflight meals. It’s one of those “let them take and inch and they will take a mile” situations

McDonald’s used to give you two full bacon strips included in the big breakfast until about the mid 90’s. They started breaking one in half. Now you have to choose between bacon and sausage🥓

I’d be happy if there was another option besides cheese plate on Alaska Airlines….my last 6 flights have only had that in 1st Class

And it’s been a downhill slide ever since… but hey, we do get 11 pretzels from time to time a cup of water or a small cup of soda … they couldn’t squeeze a 10 dollar sandwich out of 780.00 ticket … I still don’t know how they look you straighten the eyes and give you that bag of pretzels and make such a big deal out of block in the aisle for 1 hour 20 minutes to hand out a few pretzels and drinks. I think that’s more designed to keep your butt in your seat and not using the restroom or getting up.
