@brutamerica: Dogs put on their Halloween best for the annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade in Manhattan, New York City, on October 17. Owners walked alongside their costumed pets as spectators gathered to watch in the East Village. Now in its 36th year, the event featured a parade and a costume competition. The tradition began at Manhattan’s first dog run and has become a regular part of the neighborhood’s Halloween celebrations. For those taking part, it was a chance to show off their dogs’ outfits and celebrate with fellow dog lovers. #TompkinsSquare #HalloweenDogParade #NewYorkCity #EastVillage #DogsInCostume
