I'm legally blind so I was always the adult they would send in if someone got hurt. I was there when my nephew split his head open and had to have stitches. other adults were freaking out because they could see his skull I was like I can't see it don't care just let me comfort the kid. I couldn't see how broken my brother's arm was. I couldn't see my sister's eye when she stuck a screwdriver in it on accident. I was able to hold my newborn nephew as they had to draw blood from his head. it's sometimes it's a good thing that I can't see. and for some rea I don't know maybe it's just a family thing as my mom handles emergency situations well also.

yeah there's times I'm glad I'm legally blind. I like when I had to hold my 3-month-old baby while they did a spinal tap.
