@cindysreallife2: MOTHERS, PLEASE DON’T IGNORE THIS! 🙏 I want to share a little part of my daughter’s story because I believe another mother might learn something from it. My first daughter had this big, protruding belly button from when she was a baby. As she grew older, she would sometimes complain, “Mummy, it’s paining me.” I kept wondering what it could be until one day, when I noticed that it had become unusually hard and she started vomiting, I knew I needed to take her to the hospital. After proper examination, she was diagnosed with UMBILICAL HERNIA🥹 The doctors recommended surgery, which she eventually underwent, and thank God, she is feeling better now. Looking back, I realise how important it is not to overlook unusual changes in our children’s bodies, even when they have been there since birth. Dear mothers, please take note! ❤️ If you notice your baby’s belly button protruding unusually, please get it checked by a healthcare professional. ❤️ If your child complains of pain around the belly button, don’t dismiss it. ❤️ If the bulge becomes hard, swollen, tender, or changes suddenly, seek medical attention promptly. If it is accompanied by severe pain, vomiting, or a change in colour, take your child to an emergency department immediately. ❤️ Please don’t rely solely on what you read online or what other people tell you. Every child is different, and a proper medical examination is important. Umbilical hernias are relatively common in babies, and many close on their own as children grow. However, some persist or require surgery, depending on the child’s condition. A doctor can advise you on the appropriate treatment. My daughter has had her surgery, and I am sharing this not to scare anyone but to create awareness. Sometimes, what we assume is normal may need medical attention. Mummies, please, when you notice something unusual about your child’s body, don’t ignore it. Take your baby to the hospital for a proper check up. You never know whose child your experience might help. Please share this post. It might educate another mother ❤️ #lifeofamom #motherhoodjourney #umbilicalhernia #momlife
