Zain Shah said Patlo had no role in the arrival of tens of thousands of fans at the venue and accused certain social media elements of unfairly targeting him. He called for justice for the TikTok star. Patlo, meanwhile, has denied responsibility for crowd management, claiming that the event had the necessary permissions and that he had no involvement in the arrangements that led to the tragedy. In an emotional statement, Patlo claimed that his life was in danger and that people who had previously supported him had abandoned him during the controversy. The stampede occurred after large crowds gathered at Faraz Cricket Ground in Sialkot for Patlo’s wedding celebrations and an advertised prize distribution. Police have registered a case against Patlo and several organisers as investigations into the tragedy continue.
