Yoshitaka Kitao, chairman and CEO of Japan's SBI Holdings, has made his call on America's midterm elections. He says he thinks Republicans can win both the House and the Senate on November 3. He made the prediction on camera, in a clip that is now spreading on X. Kitao also pointed back to his last big call on American politics. In 2024, he says, most people expected Kamala Harris to win the White House. He says he picked Trump from the very beginning, and that is exactly how it ended. This time he gave two reasons for his pick. The first is what he has been seeing on X, the social media platform, which he says he follows closely. From what he sees there, he says the crowds showing up to Trump's speeches are on a completely different level from the crowds Democrats draw. The second is leadership. He says there may be strong figures in individual districts, but he can't see anyone leading the Democratic Party as a whole. He also says some people still talk about Kamala Harris as the next president, and he thinks that is absolutely impossible. Americans vote on Tuesday.
