first purchase from a new shop and i feel like i'm cheating on my main squishy plug 🍌 small haul from @MHM Squishy today (that's Make Hearts Melt if you haven't seen them yet) and i went in with zero expectations because i'd never ordered from them before. you know how it goes with a new shop, you're half excited and half bracing yourself. well. hearts have officially been melted. the star of the whole box is this banana scented squishy. it's not shaped like a banana, it just smells like one, and the TACKINESS on this thing is extreme in the best way, it grabs your fingers and does not want to let go. the scent isn't as strong as some of the other squishies i have, but you can still smell the banana when you pick it up, and it's a real banana smell, not fake candy banana, not chemical banana. i keep picking it up for no reason. but the part that got me is that it comes packed in a little to-go box. like a real one. the box keeps the squishy safe and it looks so cute sitting on my shelf that i don't even want to take it out, except i do, constantly, because i have to test the rebound. i have smushed this thing down as flat as i can physically get it, i'm talking fully pressed into the table, and every single time it slowly puffs right back up to normal like nothing happened. no dents, no creases, no sad flattened squishy. the bounce-back is undefeated. the rest of the haul is just as good and i'll be ranking everything properly soon, but i needed to tell you about the banana one first.
