@dailymailuk: Maya Jama has been praised as a “true winner” after making a generous gesture following Celebrity Traitors 🥹❤️ Despite being banished just before the final moments of the BBC show, the presenter has matched what she would have won by the Faithful and donated that amount to her chosen charity. Maya, 32, came incredibly close to making it all the way as a Traitor, reaching Friday night's grand finale before her fellow contestants voted her out at the final roundtable. King Kenny was then the last Traitor standing and looked set to claim the entire prize fund for his charity, but actor Sebastian Croft managed to convince comedian Romesh Ranganathan to banish him in the final moments. The dramatic ending saw Romesh and Sebastian emerge victorious as the remaining Faithful, splitting the £83,000 prize pot between their chosen charities. But Maya's decision to match the winnings with a donation of her own has won her plenty of praise from fans, who have hailed her generosity despite missing out on the victory ❤️
