But after 2 years of living off-grid, we've learned that having zero electricity and water bills doesn't mean having zero expenses. We still pay for internet, maintain our equipment, and deal with repairs ourselves. Our solar and water systems produce essentials worth roughly ₱14,400/month at estimated Metro Manila utility rates.
