@tropicaljeroxtc: POV: It’s November 2, 1995, in Bicol and Manila, Philippines. You weren’t expecting a Super Typhoon, but then you witnessed the devastating aftermath, with nearly 1,000 people dead. On this day, November 2, we commemorate the 31st anniversary of the devastating and deadly TYPHOON ANGELA, locally known as Rosing in the Philippines. It was one of the strongest typhoons ever to affect Manila, with maximum sustained winds of 180 mph (285 km/h) and an extremely low central pressure of 879 mbar. Typhoon Angela claimed a total of 936 lives and caused an estimated ₱10.9 billion in damages. 🕊️🇵🇭 #Angela1995 #RosingPH #Anniversary #Scary #Foryoupage❤️❤️
