@vlkodlakfl: 🚨 BIRMINGHAM SHOOTING UPDATE: 17-YEAR-OLD DETAINED AFTER MAGIC CITY CLASSIC TRAGEDY New details have emerged following the deadly Halloween night shootings near Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. On October 31, 2026, two separate shootings occurred less than eight minutes apart following the annual Magic City Classic football game. One person was killed and eight others were injured. Two victims were reported in critical condition, while five others were listed as stable. During a Sunday news conference, Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin confirmed that police detained a 17-year-old on a 48-hour hold. Authorities said the teenager was found carrying a firearm equipped with a Glock conversion switch, a device capable of allowing automatic fire. Important: Police have not confirmed that the teenager fired the shots or is responsible for the death. Investigators believe additional suspects may be involved. Officials emphasized that both shootings occurred outside the stadium perimeter and should not be blamed on the football game or its attendees. More than 50 people also received treatment following the chaos. Birmingham police are asking witnesses to submit video footage as the investigation continues. 🙏 Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected.
