@jennamillertravels: Unpopular Disney Cruise Line opinion… I will NEVER participate in Fish Extenders! 🫣🚢 If you’re new to Disney cruising, Fish Extenders are organized gift exchanges between passengers who hang pockets outside their stateroom doors to exchange little surprises! And while I’m sure my kids would LOVE getting more “stuff,” here’s what they don’t tell you: 🧳 you’ll need extra space to pack them AND bring new things home. ⏰ putting together FE gifts takes TIME!! AND delivering them around the ship during my vacation instead of enjoy the pool, shows, or sacrificing sleep? No thanks!! 🙃 gifts aren’t always comparable! You could be spending extra time and money and receiving gifts that don’t “add up”. But just because they’re not for ME doesn’t mean they’re not for YOU! That’s the beauty of Disney cruising! 🚢 Planning a Disney Cruise? My planning services are complimentary when you book through me! We PD! The FE is too stressful and too much work! We usually PD silicone straws! People love them!

I hate acquiring small low quality things that will be clutter and end up in the trash. The whole thing just seems wasteful

Omg never again... I made such amazing personalized bags for everyone in each cabin... all I got was junk... I kept one pair of fuzzy socks.

We put a thing out for pixie dusting, which I think is fun! Personally we 3D print little Mickey magnets.

We never do the traditional fish extender but we LOVE the ornament exchange. Highly recommend because it’s a great way to remember the trip each year and you don’t end up with a bunch of random stuff!

We will be doing some pixie dusting of small things that can be used up.

So wait, what is the difference between PD and an Extender? I thought the extender was to hold PD items?

I think being on the cruise is more than enough, also my kids don’t need more junk! Like please…

So if you don’t do the FE, where are people supposed to put the PD?
