both my nostrils took over a year to fully heal. i pierced my right side when i was 12 and didn’t rlly use proper aftercare so idek how it did at all. my left nostril, the shop i got it done at used jewelry i’m allergic to and that almost ended very badly but i figured out the issue and fixed it in time and had relatively smooth healing after that. my vertical labret only took around 4-5 months to fully mature and heal though. the shop i got that done in was amazing and she educated me well on the aftercare process which i did follow that time. i even left it out for months after and put it right back in no problem:)

My nostril piercing took 2 years to heal, no infections, not changing jewelry, cleaning twice a day when I first got it then dropped down to once after 3 months. If you really boop your piercing you can tell if it’s actually healed or not. 6 months after getting my nostril I caught it on my blanket and ripped it out on accident. WAS NOT HEALED!! It hurt sooooo badly
