I'm genuinely perplexed by this take and even more confused by the amount of women that are agreeing with it. I've been single for 6 years and not once in those 6 years have I ever wanted any of those things. even before my last relationship ended and I decided I wanted to stay single I never wanted any of those things and now being single for so long I do everything in my power to stay single. to stay focused on me, to enjoy my life the way I want in every single scenario with not another human being telling me how I should be enjoying it. I travel, I live, I laugh, I love, I take care of myself, I experience everything in its greatest capacity without the limitation of consideration for another human being who doesn't see the world that I the way I see it.
