as a drybar stylist yes this is correct. also our products suck so ask for LIGHT product. if your hair is fine don’t ask for mousse or hairspray. and for those saying it’s never voluminous enough, sometimes you don’t have the right hair type and that’s okay. for fine haired clients i also recommend asking for it dried straight, curling it w the iron and pinning it up in pin curls while it’s hot.

my favorite thing to do is to go to drybar HOURS before a big event, bring my own pins and leave with the pin curls still in. take them out right before leaving and my hair holds so well and never looks better

As a previous stylist here,, not everyone’s hair holds round brush curl the same. Some with very straight hair or super heavy hair WONT hold this. They NEED a curling iron to seal the shape but of course we can start with round brushing it for the base/volume!! Just keep that in mind ladies! Rollers are great as well 🩷✨ love this look!! This was my specialty
