@alvin.worthington: Huntington Lake (and environs) on Big Creek (see previous post) in the Sierra Nevada, east of Fresno, California. The lake is 5 miles / 8 kilometers long and was formed with 4 dams more than a century ago. I was there with a friend whose family has owned a cabin near the lake for 110 years.
