@morne_lotter: Good morning, dear friend. Our reading this morning. “Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬ It is an attitude of sacrifice and surrender. Not the kind of surrender that gives up in defeat, but the kind that willingly lays things down so that God can have His full place in our lives. The same love that held Jesus to the cross now lives in us through His Spirit. That love is strong enough to help us let go of what we have been gripping. Don't let things get in the way of your surrender to the Lord. Have a great day and week. Team Lotter.
