@andyfilmsandhikes: Apparently, I’ve been recycling based on vibes for YEARS. If it looked recyclable, into the bin it went. Turns out, that’s not exactly how recycling works. But here’s some good news for Oregon! Recycling is changing, more items are now accepted, and more communities are getting access to curbside recycling. That includes smaller communities like Roseburg, Winston, and Cottage Grove, where expanded recycling services will make it easier for thousands of households to participate. And one of my favorite parts? RecycleOn Oregon has an updated recycling guide available in 11 different languages, making recycling information more accessible to Oregonians. So whether you’re wondering about that empty yogurt container, a cardboard box, or something else entirely, there’s a guide to help you figure it out. Because recycling shouldn’t require guesswork. And apparently, having a good feeling about something isn’t an official recycling category. Check out RecycleOn Oregon’s updated recycling guide at the link in my bio!
