They obviously haven’t been in our shoes. You can wish you were with your spouse and still love your kids. Truth be told most of us are only here because of our kids, including myself. Being a widowed single mom is exhausting, heartbreaking and overwhelming!

I watch your videos from Italy with the Italian translation on, so it's not always easy to understand the irony. Honestly, I felt moved to write those words to you, not to judge you. I have followed you for a long time with affection, and I admire you for the person you are. To me, it was simply a gesture of kindness and care, and I'm sorry you misunderstood my intentions. I find the way you're responding to me quite hurtful, especially the anger I see directed towards me. And the hateful comments I'm receiving from others are even worse. I don't feel I did anything wrong to you. I was simply trying, in my own way, to show you some support. As I also wrote in another comment, from now on I'll just watch your videos silently, for two reasons: first, because I don't want my words to be misunderstood again; and second, because I don't think it's fair to be publicly shamed over an innocent comment.
