@king5news: Wild Waves has officially closed for good, citing post-pandemic financial struggles and rising costs after 50 seasons of thrills and Halloween celebrations.

Kimberly :

rumor has it, the tribes tried to save it, but the owner didnt want their money. instead, they sold it to build a warehouse. if that is true, I am furious, and I will protest.

bigburgerboi2005 :

I CRIED when I watched them close the gate for the final time and when I had to drive out of the parking lot for the final time I COMPLETELY LOST IT I could barely drive and nearly hit a concrete pole I was crying so hard 😔😢😭

Hailey :

thank you for creating a place where we could have so much fun so many people love wild waves and i truly wish we could have made alot more memories with our kids here but sadly its just going to be more warehouses now

Honestly, having it so close to the highway was a bad idea to begin with. it's a pretty short window to be open each year too.

How can Huawei's be? Having financial troubles, have you taken your kids to Huawei's? In the last 10 years, it's ridiculously expensive. The truth is, they sold out to the corporate giants. They sold that land that land is not gonna be apartment complex. That land was sold 3 years ago. It aint because they got financial trouble. They just went for the money. Let's just be real about it. Which is okay, but don't say they have financial troubles. They just sold out to the corporate slugs
