They can submit an emergency escalation directly to the force's Public Protection Superintendent. • Contact your Member of Parliament (MP): You can find your local MP online and attend their urgent local surgery or email them. An MP writing an official letter to a Chief Constable demanding to know why a rape victim is being denied protection under the Victims' Code forces an immediate high-level response. 5.Seek a Domestic Abuse or Stalking Protection Order via a Solicitor If the police completely refuse to help, civil law allows you to bypass them entirely to get legal protection from the suspect and his associates. • Legal aid is heavily prioritized and often free for victims of sexual violence or domestic abuse. • A specialized family or human rights solicitor can go directly to a judge to get an emergency Non-Molestation Order or an Injunction against the suspect and their associates. If the suspect or his friends then post about you online, breaching a court-issued injunction is an immediate arrestable criminal offence, completely taking the decision-making power away from the uncooperative handling officer.
