also a basic private pilot license doesn't let you fly jets. you have to be rated to fly that jet.

She may have had a lot of training but that doesn’t mean she had enough experience. Those are 2 separate things. Truth is, we don’t know what happened. Trying to control a plane that is uncontrollable is something that perhaps even the most seasoned pilot couldn’t have done. The important question is, what happened to make the the plane uncontrollable in the first place. That’s where her inexperience may have come into play. On the other hand, they could’ve done everything right and what happened was gonna happen regardless. Nevertheless, it’s tragic and in the end, it was an accident and I pray for their families

We have to know who the pilot was. I believe she was the copilot. She doesn’t have much experience but clearly enough to be licensed. If both have the same limited experience that would be an issue. Going though that weather appears to be poor decision and we may never know why they did that.

it's a private pilot certificate. not a license. the Private Pilot certificate allows you to fly small aircraft privately. she most likely got her instructor certificate so that she can get enough hours to become a commercial pilot. also I don't believe she was the pilot in command. if she was communicating with ATC most likely she was second in command. the rule of flying is always aviate, navigate, communicate in that order. so if she was communicating odds are the pilot in command was aviating.
