I spoke to a Russian priest and it wasn't that exaggerated but I do know she's a content creator so she does exaggerate the accent

this kinda accent is lowkey almost a lost art by now, cause most english speaking slavs won't speak like that bc of social media/other exposures to language. it's still very comfortable to speak like this for us tho, if we try to pronounce the words like that

I could be wrong, but they also pronounce the letter "R" very differently, my first language is also Slavic and I pronounce "R" by sticking my tounge to the flesh part of my mouth right above my upper teeth (I apologise, but I don't know the proper lingo) which makes it vibrate, but when I try to mimic American accent I pronounce the "R" in some word with my tongue more further back in the mouth and it comes out smooth (?).
