Literally how do people play this game without mods. You get diamond, which isn’t even hard, find a fortress then go end and kill the dragon. Then what. Netherite? Yeah right go stripmining for 3 days. Building? Without create? Literally WHAT DO YOU DO

most worlds die after the ender dragon is beat. it stays alive longer if you wait to beat the dragon. just my own personal experience

You don’t even need to kill it. Just bridge 1000 blocks from the dragon’s location and you can get all that stuff while avoiding the fight

I like the challenge of going as slow as possible going through every teir of tools and armour, completing certain goals before moving up helps me enjoy the little things, its slow, but theres always a goal I feel like beating the game too quickly leaves you feeling directionless and it diminishes a lot of challenge in solo play ive got a long list of goals i gotta accomplish before I can get stone tools, copper tools, iron, etc if I get tired of it, I take a break, but ive always got a reason to come back

I never go to the end early, im now 24 hours in my new world with my best friend and i haven’t even started looking for Diamonds let alone a nether portal let alone the end, its also not in my plans to go to the end anytime soon, i might need to go to the nether at some point for quartz and building blocks

I hae been playing for over a a decade, most of that time i would have agreed with you but this is simply not true in todays game. With happy ghasts, chest boats, leads, bundles, and some good horses you can do everything that shulkers and elytras can with less speed. Take it slow and enjoy the game :)

Elytras and shulker boxes are the exact reasons i dont go into the end. I like using horses and building railroads and having to actually think about how i construct my survival world, what i take with me on journeys etc. Its part of the fun for me. Beat the dragon instantly if you want, but i'm not doing it because its the wrong way to play FOR ME
