I didn't hear about this until now, ngl i like both faces, he kind of looks like invincible in the second picture, which I'm okay with cause invincible is half Asian and white.

Why make them even Asian in the first place if, at the first sign of backlash, you were going to go against your own decision anyway?, there’s not a chance in 2026 you can’t know there will be a small voice who will needlessly complain about this stuff, it can’t be a shocker.

When i first seen this game it caught my attention. But when I seen the male character I thought he looked generic, like someone's custom character. This new version is way better and looks like a character mod someone put a lot of time in to making. I played Mass Effect with default male Shep because any custom character I've made or seen the voice don't go with it. So I'm not bothered by a lack of character customization in rpgs. Also I remember a time when devs made a game the way they wanted and we played it and either liked it or didn't. Now devs change things based on online complaints. And in my opinion the only reason to have a male and female lead would be if they were siblings like Andromeda. Have one lead so they can be canon instead of catering to everyone and have a male/female option. My saying remains the same, play a game for what it is, not what you expected it to be. I made the choice not to play Veilguard, and the only reason I picked it up was because I got it for 4 quid. It was decent but my least favourite Dragon Age game.

What are u talking about? The original characterswas not Asian, he was just ugly and people don't want to play with ugly characters. You woke people invent problems out of nowhere lol. And yes, the female main character should also be a hottie. And yes, it does matter.
