My biggest fear would be "am I being selfish?" like, I've considered that many times, being in my 30s. I know I have all the love, patience etc. to bring up a child but what about father's days, grandparents, children's identity and everything that child may miss out on, would I be depriving them? I know there are plenty of single mums but to choose that knowingly for your child 🤔 I don't know 😭 I always dreamt of being a mum 💔

Where safe, a child deserves to know both their parents so they have a full sense of their own identity. It’s not about what the parent wants or prefers. Think about the fundamental needs of a child & what they deserve as a human being.

This was my original plan 🥹 I was saving money, got fertility tested and everything… Then after 2 years of being single & celibate, I met my son’s father. I can’t regret it because I love my son and I can’t imagine my life without him. However, I wish I’d just stuck to my plan because the hardest part of motherhood has been my son’s father
