Vanilla is easy to make. Buy a pkg of good vanilla beans. TikTok has them as does Amazon and a bottle of bourbon. You can cut beans open lengthwise if you want. Add 30ish beans to a large mason jar and cover with bourbon. Store in a cool dry dark place and shake once a week every month. Wait a year and VOILÀ, you have vanilla.

Oh girl vanilla is so easy. You need a dark jar (some say you don’t need dark, but that is what my grandma told me to use) You need Grade b Madagascar bourbon beans 1-2 oz 1 cup vodka not the cheap stuff but not too shelf either 70-100 proof plain/unflavored Cut the beans in half Put 1-2 oz vanilla in a jar Fill the jar with 1 cup vodka Shake well and store in a cool dark place Here is the hard part let it sit for 6 months it can actually take up to 24 months for full rich flavor Shake it every one to two weeks
