@jamesaalongman: One of my best friends is a US elections nut. He’s worked on American election campaigns and lives and breathes this stuff. 6 weeks he offered his perspective on where things stand in the US midterms. Now he’s reflecting on where we are the day before the election. Texas, Michigan, Kansas, Iowa, Maine, Nebraska, Florida, Alaska, Ohio, Georgia, Mississippi, North and South Carolina - all part of our conversation. If you’re a US politics geek, this is for you #midterms #trump #us 🇺🇸 🇬🇧

🌿 Daily Devotional — Come As You Are 📖 Romans 5:8 (KJV) “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” ❤️ Today's Reflection Have you ever felt like you needed to get your life together before coming to God? Maybe you've thought your past was too messy, your mistakes too many, or your faith too weak. But the Gospel tells us something incredible: Jesus didn't wait for us to become worthy before He loved us. Christ willingly gave His life for us while we were still sinners. His sacrifice wasn't a reward for good behavior. It was an expression of God's incredible mercy and grace. That doesn't mean Jesus wants us to remain unchanged. His love invites us to repent, trust Him, and begin a new life following Him. You don't have to clean yourself up to come to Jesus. Come to Him, and let Him begin transforming your heart. 🙏 Today's Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me even at my worst. Help me stop allowing shame and past mistakes to keep me from drawing closer to Jesus. Transform my heart and guide my steps. In Jesus' name, Amen. ❤️ 🌻 Today's Takeaway Don't let your past keep you from the Savior who gave His life to redeem you. Follow Jesus. Share the Gospel. Love one another. Trust God with the rest. ✝️ — Broken Fence Faith Ministry #christiantiktok #jesuslovesyou #brokenfencefaith #Romans58 #dailydevotional
