@stillcirca: Kimi Antonelli is the 2026 Formula 1 World Champion. At just 20 years and 68 days old, the Mercedes driver made history in Mexico City, finishing third to seal the title with four rounds still to go. He becomes the youngest F1 world champion ever, breaking Sebastian Vettel’s record by three years. Antonelli’s maiden crown came in only his second season, delivering Mercedes its first drivers’ championship since 2020 and making him the first Italian champion since Alberto Ascari in 1953. He kept his composure through a chaotic Mexico City Grand Prix - two standing starts, a red flag and a late restart - before crossing the line behind Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, then breaking down in tears over the radio. The boy from Bologna didn’t just win the title; he rewrote what’s possible in Formula 1. #fyp #KimiAntonelli #F1 #formula1 #MercedesAMG
