My grandpa drives a 1967 impala, and one time we saw an old lady waiting by his car presumably about to tell him he shouldn’t be parking in a handicap spot despite him having a disabled tag. Me and my grandpa walked out of the Dollar General and she RAN away, because my grandpa only has two fingers on one hand and a singular thumb on the other hand. 😂

My husband is 100% disabled veteran P&T. No one would ever guess how many times he has beaten cancer (asbestos in the barracks)

What's crazy is you HAVE to get it signed by your doctor and it's under your name when going to get one from the tag office. I'm disabled but have had people leave nasty messages on my car because I have an invisible illness

I'm disabled and get dirty looks parking in handicap spots all the time one lady said "you're young and healthy why are you taking spot for people who need it" I have sever chronic pain , I can only walk small distance but not all illness are visible people need to mind their business and f*** off

All the time! I’m in my early 20s and I’m handicapped due to so many knee surgeries causing me to not be able to walk far distances. The amount of looks and people asking if it’s really MY CAR! I’ve been told to move so many times because my plate has the handicap and not the placard!

My family tells me: “You look fine”…. 2 torn rotators, torn hamstrings, calf, pec, previous bilateral stress fractures in my hips, torn labrum’s & tendons, insomnia, lost of hearing, impaired eye sight, herniated discs, degenerative arthritis…. Yea, I’m sure I look fine on the outside.
