My Grandpa was walking on Long Beach Blvd when that earthquake hit. He said the sidewalks rolled and made a horrible noise. He was vary frightened. It felt like it lasted a long time.

I believe that’s the correct address. It’s a motel with shops located underneath it. There are some pictures taken from a distance showing Kenny’s Photo shop and possibly a liquor store on the main corner at the bottom of the motel. I’ve been trying to find older photographs of the Lynwood Motel, but I haven’t had much luck. I believe I came across one from sometime in the 1980s, but I haven’t been able to find any pictures dating back earlier than that.
