@financebymahu: 1. Wait 48 hours before buying anything in your cart (AED 220). Close the tab and come back in two days. Chances are, the urge to buy it will pass. 2. Brew your own coffee (AED 367). Spending AED 15–20 on coffee every workday adds up. Make it at home and watch the savings grow. 3. Cut way back on eating out (AED 881). Reduce restaurant visits and takeaway orders. You'll be surprised how much you can save. 4. Learn to say "no" or "not yet" (AED 110). Your budget doesn't always mean no. Sometimes it means saving up first. 5. Rotate streaming subscriptions (AED 220). Pick ONE service, watch what you want, cancel and rotate. 6. Stay out of "that store" (AED 147). We all have one. Skip the browsing and find something free to do instead. 7. Plan meals, shop the list and buy generic (AED 477). Plan meals around weekly offers, stick to your grocery list and skip unnecessary purchases. 8. Sell what you don't use (AED 184). Furniture, electronics and clothes can turn into extra cash for your goals. 9. Use cash or debit for categories where you overspend (AED 184). Set a limit for each category. Once you've reached it, stop spending. 10. Trim your clothing budget (AED 184). Wear what you have and buy what you need. Not every season needs a new wardrobe. 11. Swap sugary drinks for water (AED 147). Those little daily purchases add up faster than you think. 12. Shop around for fixed bills (AED 257). Compare your car insurance, phone and internet plans. Ask your provider for a better deal. 13. Cook more meals at home (AED 147). Buy simple ingredients, prepare your own meals and skip expensive ready-made food. 14. Track every expense and think weekly (AED 92). A monthly budget of AED 1,200 is AED 300 a week. Track your spending so you know when to pull back. 15. Use coupons wisely (AED 55). Buying something just because it's on sale isn't saving money. Imagine saving AED 3,670 every month. That's AED 44,040 a year! But here's the thing: saving money isn't just about spending less. It's about knowing where every dirham goes and giving it a purpose. That's where PocketPal Budget comes in. 💰 Use it to track your expenses, organise your budget and stay consistent with your savings goals instead of wondering where your salary disappeared. My friend saved a lot of money and she never bought anything for herself, she made good amount of money and hardly spend any. Anyway long story short, may Allah rest her soul! She left us 3 months ago and since she wasn’t married or have any family all that money just sitting in an account. Enjoy your life and don’t restrict yourself, money is just paper it comes and goes.
