My old Samsung Galaxy A52 had burn in on the bottom where the TikTok icons were, as well as the notification icons. The phone doesn't work anymore, so it's not really a bother for me. My A54 doesn't have burn in yet.

iPhone 16 pro max used since march after released, nothing at all. As low brightness as possible and I cupped my hands around the battery icon to look closely. I max out my brightness as much as possible. I can’t believe it tbh.

Oleds do have burn in, but we're working toward a point where it's realistically a non issue. Kinda like how SSDs do have a write limit, but you're not likely to hit it within a reasonable timeframe so people don't shy away from solid state storage due to lifespan issues. The advantages are large enough to warrant the change. Similarly, I think oled monitors are getting a lot closer to the point where a 10 year lifespan is feasible without issue. Also, older IPS monitors can suffer from image retention issues like mine does.

Well on my 13 pro max 😅😅😅 the home bar, signal, wifi, battery, and the clock is pretty visibly burned in. But i knew this before, so nothing new xD. Finna get an iphone air soon thoooo, can’t wait

Did this test on my msi x50 oled i have had since launch (roughly 1 year) and have no burn in. Even with probably around 3000 hrs of screen use

I have a samsung s25 ultra and I got it at launch almost 2 years ago and I didn't see anything really. maybe a tiny tiny bit in the bottom but not sure honestly

I literally have battery, cell signal and wifi icons burned in on my phone display. I noticed it when I opened McDonald's app cause it opened filling the whole screen with white.
