How does he figure he has been professional! He gave a list of three teams only! Trying to strong arm the organization to send him to who he believes will win! Vegas had no interest at all and Florida traded for Brady making it obvious they were out! So for months he in essence said trade me to Minnesota! Minnesota may have offered some good prospects but as the team stated they wanted a non futures package! That is a right the wings had! Larkin stood on I want to be in Minnesota as they were the only team on his list making offers! Then he slowly added team but has basically added teams that either don’t have viable trade pieces or don’t want to trade for him! So he place but it was obvious that his heart wasn’t in it! Then NJ traded for Helly and he thought that must be the way out! Be as he say’s professional and refuse to honor the contract he wanted! The professional thing to do is honor your commitment and play! The team then will have no choice but to honor their commitment which is to pay you! The team has no obligation to trade you period. All be it not in their best interest to keep a disgruntled employee hanging around! I don’t care why you want out of Detroit. That is unimportant at this point. So you took your trucks and went home so be it, the wings while having some good individuals but for the most part suck, so trading you will most likely not improve the team so get comfortable at home with your family and keep waiting! Hopefully for a few years cause you wanted an Eight year contract so you got it!
