@dailymailuk: British explorer Karl Bushby has finally returned home after spending 28 years travelling the world. The 57-year-old former paratrooper arrived in Hull to cheering crowds, completing a 31,000-mile journey across four continents and 30 countries. Bushby set off from Chile in 1998, determined to walk home without using transport to advance his journey. Along the way, he crossed the dangerous Darién Gap between Colombia and Panama, trekked across a frozen sea between Russia and Alaska, and swam the English Channel. He has now been reunited with his family after almost three decades. #BritishExplorer #KarlBushby #UKnews #Hull
