I think this really depends on the situation. While communication is a sign of emotional maturity, so is knowing when silence is necessary. Not everyone who walks away without an explanation is being selfish. Sometimes you’ve communicated your feelings so many times that silence becomes the only boundary left. There’s a difference between ghosting someone to avoid accountability and walking away to protect your peace. True emotional maturity is understanding that distinction.🤷♀️

Not everything needs a conversation. If you don’t know them at all it’s fine. But if you and any sort of sexual/intimate experiences with them and ghost- that is so dehumanizing and an awful and ruthless thing to do to someone.

only did this after almost a decade of bringing up the same thing hoping that person would change until that last drop of hope came and my heart decided to leave without explaination. Ghosting might be evil but Its because I poured myself all out to that rs only to get betrayed and neglected continuesly. Some ppl just wouldnt listen and just doesnt deserve an explanation

As long as nothing happened for them to deserve it. I had a man say he was coming to see me and then didn’t come. The next day he tried again because he said he got drunk. I won’t be giving him another chance.
