Got diagnosed with OCD, but I KNOW everyone is judging everything I do and what I look like and what I'm wearing and my makeup and how I talk and what I say and what my kids look like and how I interact with my kids. I swear I'm not crazy 😭

Big one for me is the drinking one, I’m always nervous I’ve physically or sexually assaulted someone and forgot about it. I’ve never done either of those things or been blacked out in many years.

Your first example seems odd. Certain cleaners are toxic if ingested and have warnings on their label. I wouldn’t use windex near my cooking/prep areas either!

well you shouldn't spray chemicals near food or drinks, or vacuum if you're preparing food. particles will fall onto/into them.. 😅 also drives me crazy when cooking spoons or silverware get placed on the counter.. that's nasty. must place it on something clean 😂

my most debilitating one has been about my dog getting old. every day that he has something slightly off about him I spiral about if I'm forcing him to stay alive and suffer and I'm a bad person (he literally just has arthritis lol)

I can’t eat or drink at work from fear of getting sick… so I just starve 🤣🫣. I was diagnosed with postpartum ocd but that was 4 years ago. Ready for it to end tbh.

I don’t like cash or hand sanitizer because it feels like I can’t get all the nasty germs from money off me and hand sanitizer needs to be totally off because it’s not safe to ingest

If I'm taking a medication I have to stare at the bottle while I take the pill and a lot of times that isn't enough to convince me so I have to open the bottle and compare the one in my mouth to the ones in the bottle. I only take 1 medication however so there's not even really a chance of making a mistake

Cool, I can’t let people out of my car without turning my car off because I could accidentally run them over and then run them over again to back off of them. And I am so sure I have heroin or coke on my person at any flight check in and coming across the border or if I’m pulled over…. I’ve never had cocaine or heroin… 😂

The big one for my is genuinely things being organized and even. Classmates used to point it out like it was silly, but I genuinely could not start listening to the lecture until I set my desk up. For every. Single. Class. After I got my official diagnosis I started feeling more forgiving to myself for the things I need to do just to feel in control.
