@idthemoneyman: £2,800 take-home pay. £60 left. Is that a decent income in the UK? On paper, it might sound like enough. Then you pay for your life. £1,000 on rent. Bills. Food. Insurance. Everything else that needs paying. And that £2,800 becomes £60. £60 between you and the next payday. Then someone tells you to “just budget better”. Budgeting matters. But if the essentials leave you with almost nothing, a spreadsheet can only do so much. We need to stop talking about a decent income without talking about what it actually covers. How much breathing room does £60 really buy you? #moneymoneymoney #retirementplanning #financialplanning #fintok #financialfreedom

It’s £60 but that’s bc your spending £400 on shopping. No need for that. Reduce by £200 and you’ll have £260 £450 for food? Is that fir a family or just one ? If one £350 is a budget to work with and save the £100 or add it to your pension

£60/month, presumably to save!? I was married at 21, divorced at 45. brought up 2 children in my own mortgaged home and NEVER had £60/month SPARE CASH! In fact, worked 2, sometimes 3 jobs AND wife had a part-time job - we NEVER ate out regularly!

This why there’s protests all over Europe its the same there … wealthy people own property and rent out as air b&b , local People can just about to walk past the expensive shops in their home town let alone go in & buy from them ….. resentment is riding high
