@hustlersnthehood: 174 people chipped in, and on Friday Gloria Kennard of Bryan, Texas got the keys to a brand new car. Every Thanksgiving since 1988, Miss Gloria has put on a free meal for anybody who needs one. It feeds more than 2,000 people now. She also does a New Year's Day meal, and she has handed out bread at a local food pantry every week for 16 years. In July a driver ran a stop sign and totaled her truck while she was on her way to Bible study. She wasn't hurt, but the insurance money wasn't enough for another one, so she spent months calling friends for rides. The food pantry started a GoFundMe. People gave more than $17,700, and a local business added $10,000. "Every dollar represents a life that Miss Gloria has touched," the pantry's coordinator said. Her first stops in the new car: Bible study, church and her volunteer shift. "I'll have my evening gown on," she said. #HustlersNTheHood
